Trade Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• • "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Turncoat Distillery / Liverpool Distillery Ltd.
• • "You" or "The Buyer" refers to the licensed business purchasing from us through the Turncoat Trade portal or directly via email or invoice.
• • "Goods" means the alcoholic and non-alcoholic products supplied by Turncoat Distillery.
• • "Website" means TurncoatTrade.com or any subdomain of WeAreTurncoat.com used for trade.

2. Trade Eligibility

• • Supply is available only to licensed trade customers (bars, restaurants, hotels, retailers, wholesalers).
• • We may request a copy of your premises licence, VAT certificate, or AWRS number to verify eligibility.
• • By ordering, you confirm you are purchasing for resale or business use, not personal consumption.

3. Minimum Order

• • Minimum trade order: 6 bottles (may be mixed across the range).
• • Orders below this threshold are not eligible for trade pricing.

4. Pricing

• • All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• • VAT and any applicable duty are added at checkout or on invoice.
• • Prices are subject to change without notice, although we aim to honour confirmed quotations for 30 days.

5. Payment Terms

• • Pay Now (Online): Payment taken securely at checkout.
• • Credit Terms: Approved accounts receive Net 7 terms (payment within 7 calendar days from invoice date).
• • Late payments may incur statutory interest and administration charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
• • Title of goods passes on full cleared payment. Risk passes on delivery or collection.

6. Delivery & Collection

• • UK Mainland Delivery: 1–3 working days (subject to stock).
• • Liverpool City Region: Same-day or next-day delivery available.
• • Collection: From Royal Institution, 24 Colquitt Street, Liverpool, L1 4DE (Mon–Fri, 10:00–17:00).
• • Report any breakages or shortages within 24 hours with photo evidence.

7. Returns & Refunds

• • Returns accepted only by prior agreement.
• • Goods must be unopened, in saleable condition, and returned within 14 days of receipt.
• • We reserve the right to charge restocking or collection fees where applicable.
• • Refunds issued once goods are inspected and approved.

8. Product Quality

• • All goods are produced and bottled under UK food and alcohol safety standards.
• • Variations in batch colour or flavour may occur due to natural botanicals and ingredients.

9. Liability

• • We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or business loss beyond the value of the order.
• • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures arising from circumstances beyond our control (including strikes, transport issues, weather events, or government restrictions).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
